RED FEATHER RANCH was established in July of 2016 and was named for the symbolism of the red feather in Native American history. Red feathers represent strength, good fortune, and vitality, which is exactly what RFR strives for in connection to people and horses. Spread neatly across two acres in the heart of Old Town Norco (Horse Town, USA), just minutes' ride from the Santa Ana River trails in one direction, and miles of intertwining street trails in the other, Red Feather Ranch offers a quiet, clean, convenient stabling opportunity. But we are not just a boarding facility--we are a home away from home, for both you and your horse.
Madison Shields purchased this exceptional property in 2016 with the intention of growing, and grounding, her career with horses. Creating a space for boarders, students, training clients, and equine family, she is successfully nurturing her goals. The property offers plenty of room for every visitor with a 170'x70' arena, 30'x70' turn out, 60' round pen, 10 stall mare motel, an extra 7 fully covered stud wired stalls, an 8 stall barn, indoor and outdoor cross ties, wash racks with optional hot water, lighted tack rooms, lighted stalls, a fly system, and a riding track around the perimeter of the property. Red Feather Ranch primarily serves as a trail riding barn, working with clients to really trust, understand, and enjoy their horses inside and outside of the ring.
