BASIC HORSEMANSHIP COURSE - 2 days, 5hrs per day - $100 per person
If you are new to horses or are returning after some time away and need a confidence booster, this two-day course might be the thing for you. Open to individuals 12years and up. Horses will be provided. Closed toed shoes (boots are preferable) and helmets are required and must be brought with you in order to participate. Gloves are recommended for comfort, but not a necessity. Students will also receive two professional photographs of their sessions and will get to watch several demonstrations that will expand upon the concepts taught in class. ROUND-PENNING AND GROUNDWORK CLINICS

Participants will be required to wear closed toed shoes and helmets. Participating horses must be at least 2 years old, halter broke, and lead well enough to be led in and out of the round pen. Participating horses must not be prone to severely dangerous behavior such as rearing, kicking, or aggressive charging or lunging in order to be a part of this particular clinic. Participating horses MUST have a current Coggins, be up to date on vaccines, as well as not be showing signs of illness (fever, snotty nose, coughing, colic, coming off feed, lameness) within one week prior to starting the clinic.
